The Drama Department is one of nine departments in the Division of Humanities & Fine Arts in the College of Arts and Science. Their Department’s distinctive personality centers on a diverse mixture of creative exploration and rigorous intellectual pursuit, balancing the freedom of its artistic opportunities within the variety of theoretical and practical experiences theatre can offer.

The USask Drama Department is a vibrant contributor to Saskatchewan art and culture, with their Greystone Theatre presenting a four-play season from the classical and contemporary repertoire in the Emrys Jones Theatre. But their impact extends beyond out borders, as many faculty and alumni are or have been showcased on both national and international stages.
