Kevin is delighted to be part of this season’s ensemble. It’s always a pleasure to spend the summer with Shakespeare.
Other Shakespeare roles include Claudius/Ghost in Hamlet, and Page in Merry Wives of Windsor (Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan), Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Bard in the Vineyard), the Duke in Measure for Measure (Bard on the Beach), Cassius in Julius Caesar (Mad Duck), and Lear in King Lear (Theatre Prospero).
Kevin founded and ran the English Suitcase Theatre Company, who visited Saskatoon many times, and were half of the inaugural Saskatoon Fringe Festival in 1989! Between then and 2010, you might have seen English Suitcase productions of George Orwell is not my real name, Betrayal, Greek, Whale Nation, Dr Faustus, Macbeth, or Crave, to name a few.
Saskatoon work includes Claudius in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Serge in Art, Jacob Marley and his gaggle of ghosts in A Christmas Carol, Black Dog/Captain Smollett in Treasure Island and Dr Bauer in The Walnut Tree (Persephone).
Other work includes Burleigh in Mary Stuart, Begriffenfeldt in Peer Gynt, Pinter’s Briefs (Blackbird), Elyot in Private Lives, Frank in The Memory of Water (Arts Club), Bruce in Blue/Orange (Western Theatre Conspiracy), and Fred in both Present Laughter and A Christmas Carol (Citadel).
