Dustin was born and raised in beautiful Saskatoon and is passionate about this incredible city we call home. He grew up playing competitive baseball and curling but as he hit his late teens curling would become the focal point. He would go on to win 3 provincial championships and attend bonspiels all across Canada, even one in Switzerland.
It wasn’t until his junior curling career was over that he was finally able to tap into the artistic side of himself. In 2008 Kiki Roquette was born, Kiki would go on to become one of Saskatoon’s premier drag queens, performing at almost every venue Saskatoon has to offer. Kiki would retire in epic fashion in 2018 and Dustin is now looking for new avenues to give back to the community.
Dustin is the promotions coordinator and community relations liaison at Saskatoon Media Group (and loves his job). He is also a member of the Prairie Lily Curling League Board, the only LGBTQ sports league in Saskatchewan.
