Local Artist
Oli Guselle (They/He/She) is a prairie queer passionate about music, storytelling, and what happens when you combine the two. They can be found exploring these possibilities on and off stage as an opera singer, actor, musician, director, composer, teacher, sound designer, and frontman of local punk band, Checkout Queens. You may have seen them tearing up the community stage last summer with their show Shakespeare’s Mixtape: a genre defying concert reimagining the songs of Shakespeare (now out on Band Camp under Oli the Bard.) He has a Bachelor’s of Music specializing in vocal performance from the University of Toronto.
Selected Credits: Shakespeare’s Mixtape (SOTS Players Series), A Christmas Carol (Globe Theatre), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (SOTS), Breathe (SUM Theatre), The Adventure of Young Turtle (So.GladArts), Mustard (25th Street Theatre), Bad Hat’s Peter Pan (Globe Theatre), Reel Whirled (SUM) Carmen (Saskatoon Opera)
