Lisa Bayliss is thrilled and honored to join the acting company of Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan for a sixth season. Previous appearances include Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, Baptista in Taming of the Shrew, Maria in Twelfth Night, Duchess of York in Richard lll, Phoebe in As You Like It, Gertrude in Hamlet, Will Shakespeare in Done/Undone; and Anne Hathaway in the solo show Shakespeare’s Will.
Favourite Saskatchewan stage appearances, in addition to her roles at SOTS, include The Watch List (25th Street Theatre); The Master Plan (Globe Theatre); Blithe Spirit; 18 Jews Order Chinese Food; Cottagers and Indians; Pride and Prejudice; Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead; Between the Sheets and Sexy Laundry (Persephone Theatre);The Unplugging (Burnt Thicket); The Wolves (Live Five).
Lisa has also worked extensively in BC, appearing in numerous productions for Bard on the Beach, the Arts Club Theatre, Belfry Theatre, Firehall Theatre, Western Canada Theatre, Theatre Northwest and the Richmond Gateway Theatre.
